Any robot constructed for Guess my Robot can be used as a cipher machine! This suprising fact can be used to link the Guess my Robot to to the cryptography activity.

Any numeric sequence can be used as an encryption key. Simply add its term to the message characters on the transmitting side, and subtract them on the receiving side. However, if the rule for your sequence is easy to uncover, your code will be easy to break.
